Theis

Sapele Shoji with Sapele panels and Kinwashi Warlon reinforced paper.

Joinery detail showing a bit of the wood grain.

Inlaid Ebony door pulls.

Kumiko joinery and paper detail.
My apologies for the date stamp, not sure how that happened.

Beautiful figured Cherry shoji with Warlon Acrylic insert material. Cherry darkens with age so these do not have their full color yet. Pictured are two of the three shoji in this order.

Some of that pretty figure in the wood. This picture is blurry but I had to include it..

Inlaid 'faux' Rosewood door pulls.

Inlaid polished brass edge pull for these pocket shoji.

How it works..

Sorry about the date stamp. I'm not sure how that option got selected on the camera.

At 107-1/2" these are possibly the tallest kumiko we've built since these shoji do not have an intermediate rail or lower panel. Also right up there with one of the longest valances at 13'.

Beech shoji with Port Orford Cedar kumiko, 0.3 mm Kinwashi Warlon paper and inlaid door pulls.
