Albie

A beautiful set of three Shoji screens, built in Cherry with Kinwashi Warlon paper
and our Kumiko pattern 18.

This photo shows one of the screens leaning up against white cardboard- it shows a truer color than the brown cardboard back drop.

Note the carefully beveled ends on the floating kumiko- one of our signature details.

This particular lot of Cherry had some lovely curl in the grain!

Barth Construction part 2

Shoji for a lovely mountain home. In Maple, with opaque (bright white, no fibers) white Warlon.
A plethora of different sizes means a very close track on parts count and organization!
This is just a few of them, the stack is deep.

Cute is the word everyone used.....

The Arc of Shoji.
Some say our crates can be used for transoceanic voyages...

Work Bench

We build stout crates, and one of our clients got creative and re-used the wood and plywood to build a work bench. Her note below.

It’s not quite finished, but here’s the work bench I made using lumber from the beautiful crate my perfect Shoji screens came in. Shoji photos when the valances are installed.
