Two shoji on the left are for a utility room with an HVAC unit that needs ventilation. The bottom kumiko slats are spaced closely enough that from a 15 foot distance you can just see through them but when standing closer there's no view into the room. (see below)
Shoji screens built in Beech with 1 mm white Warlon and inlaid Ebony door pulls.

Beech shoji with lower door panels to act as room divider - right hand shoji fits under a soffit. I was able to get the horizontal kumiko aligned between the two heights. 
Elvis stepped in for scale. He is 6' tall.
