These are tall shoji screens- just about 8 feet. Made with Beech, Port Orford Cedar and .45 white Warlon laminated paper. A 2-1 ratio is carried throughout- each small rectangle is 2-1, and each group of four rectangles is a 2-1 ratio. Two groups of four form a square and there are three squares to fill the whole screen height. Confused yet?

Upper (left) and lower (right) wood tracks for three shoji screens. There is a small plastic glide we put on the bottom edge of the screens, to engage the thumbnail profile on the lower track- much easier to clean and a lot more friendly on bare feet than a square edge groove. The lower track is finished with a urethane floor finish.
